"A Chord of Three Can Not Easily Be Broken" Ecclesiastes 4:12

The group first formed in July of 2005 on First Baptist Church (FBC) of Canton's youth choir tour. FBC's Music Minister, Monte Clearman, showed Laura Beth the song, "Broken Wings", that required three vocals. Laura Beth, Tori, and Cody had all been attending the same high school - Canton High School - and she knew that the other two were singers. Conveniently, they all attended the same church, so it only seemed right to first ask them if they would be interested in singing the harmonies. In the midst of ten days on the tour, the three began playing with the song to see what they could make of it. None of them had any idea how amazing it would sound. With this song, ground was broken on an unmistakable new sound. The three began singing at local venues and quickly started a buzz in the area. In just a few short months, A Chord of Three was born and made its first CD, "I'm All Yours".

Their name, "A Chord of Three" is taken from the verse Ecclesiastes 4:12 - "...three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken."

The former Music Ministor at First Baptist, Monte Clearman, was their manager and a big part of the project. He helped get the group off the ground and is primarily responsible for the recording of their first CD. He also promoted the trio all around the region.

On their debut CD, there is a variety of musical styles, such as: a capella, contemporary, and country. The blend that this group has is blissful - you can't help but be blown away!
